“Resonance Tuning” is the theme that guides the eighth chapter in the explorations of the IN Residence Diaries project. The book turns its attention towards the different and possible manifestations of the close relationship that binds individuals to objects, according to a manner of connecting – undoubtedly personal, in some cases intimate – that can reveal different levels of “affection”, “asymmetric empathy” or “resonance”.
The book also offers the opportunity to deepen the thought and work of the designers who took part in the eighth edition of the series of workshops produced by IN Residence.
The last section of this book includes the catalogue of the group exhibition “Desiderabilia – About Desirable Things” (2014) produced by IN Residence and consisting in a thematic collection of brand-new design objects custom-created for the occasion.
