The exhibition format is leveraged as a communicative device to pursue IN Residence’s mission to promote emerging design talents, as well as to foster debate around relevant topics. Curated by Barbara Brondi and Marco Rainò, the exhibitions showcase the outputs of the residency program, or involve IN Residence’s network of designers in the conception and production of completely new speculative artifacts. Through this device, new narratives and concepts around the themes that are felt as urgent for a truly contemporary design practice are constantly developed, discussed and challenged.
