JOHANNA SEELEMANN
Johanna Seelemann (Leipzig, Germany, 1990) is a designer whose practice is based between Leipzig and Reykjavík. Founded in 2020, her studio works at the intersection of product design, conceptual research, and design strategy, decoding the everyday through a forensic lens on material culture, production systems, and ecological cycles. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Design Museum London, the Victoria & Albert Museum, and Villa Noailles in Hyères. She has received several awards and recognitions, including the Green Concept Award (2022), shortlisting by Dezeen for Emerging Designer of the Year (2023), and selection by Wallpaper* as a future creative leader. In 2025, her work was nominated for the Icelandic Design Award, the Dutch Design Awards – Emerging Talent Award, and the Ralph Saltzman Prize.
