This book is dedicated to the work of Audrey Large, as part of a series of monographs on the thought and work of young contemporary designers. Audrey Large proposes a disruptive shift in the field of action of contemporary design. With a vividly ambiguous presence and naïve elegance that formulate the codes of an original aesthetic, her works develop a dizzying challenge to the authenticity of vision and perception of what is considered real, taking on a role as mutant-objects that stimulate the cultural awareness of our time to come to terms with its unavoidable, necessary aptitude for metamorphosis.
The monograph Metamorphosis Signals, dedicated to the work of Audrey Large, was included in the ADI Design Index 2024, the annual selection of outstanding Italian design projects, in the category dedicated to theoretical, historical and critical research and publishing. In 2026, it was selected to compete for the XXIX Compasso d’Oro ADI Award.
