METABOLIC SCENARIOS
With Metabolic Scenarios, the workshop opens a window onto urbanity as a constantly evolving organism, inviting the participants to see the city not only as a physical space but as a living field of forces. Each neighborhood, community, and urban fragment becomes a vector of change, a place where memory and future intertwine to generate unexpected scenarios. The term Metabolic evokes what absorbs, transforms, and regenerates: a perpetual flow in which past and present converse, shaping new possibilities. Scenarios expands the horizon of perception, turning design into a tool of speculative exploration, a language capable of conveying insights, premonitions, and objects that suggest alternative ways of dwelling and cohabiting. The workshop thus becomes a ground for experimentation, a space where imagination encounters urban complexity and transforms it into concrete, poetic signs. Here matter becomes language, the city becomes scenario, and every idea becomes a tool to read, interpret, and reinvent contemporary life.
